President Marcos further noted the achievement is not only the Philippines’ but the entire Southeast Asia region. The first 2 days of meetings saw insightful discussions and different perspectives on diverse strategic trade issues, including development of a comprehensive STM strategy in SE Asia, building robust compliance frameworks and standards, partnership with the Private Sector, emerging trends in proliferation in a globalized world and different enforcement approaches.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Government of the Philippines for their gracious hospitality, the organising committee from the U.S Departments of State and Energy and the Philippines DTI - Strategic Trade Management Office, the speakers and attendees who contributed to the success of the Summit.
