Earlier this week, the Centre for Trade Excellence was honoured to support a high-level dialogue on the evolving ASEAN trade landscape, hosted by the Centre for International Law at the National University of Singapore. The event convened senior policymakers, legal experts, and industry leaders for a dynamic exchange on the future of trade integration, connectivity, and resilience in the region.
As ASEAN’s trade architecture continues to deepen and expand, these platforms are essential for aligning policy frameworks, sharing cross-border insights, and forging partnerships that can withstand emerging economic and geopolitical pressures.

Representing the Centre, Deputy President Felicia Peiling Gan, PBM, participated in Session 3: ASEAN Networks, where she shared her insights on strengthening and rerouting transport and supply chains—a strategic issue central to ASEAN’s competitiveness and long-term integration.
Her remarks highlighted the critical role of infrastructure connectivity, digital transformation, and multi-stakeholder alignment in building resilient trade corridors across Southeast Asia.
