With over USD $1 billion in scam-related losses reported in Singapore alone over the past two years, the urgency to address this global challenge is clear. At the Summit, we participated in a panel discussion titled “Privacy Equation: Trust, Data and the Fight Against Scams”, where we joined leading voices from industry, law enforcement, and government to tackle the critical issue of safeguarding personal data and rebuilding trust in the digital age.

Scams know no borders. As perpetrators become increasingly sophisticated—particularly through the use of social media and messaging platforms—international cooperation has become more crucial than ever.
