Prof Nabil Boubrahimi
Prof Nabil Boubrahimi has deep expertise in international trade negotiations and the licensing control of trade in goods and products, trade policy, and formulating schedule commitments and concessions for the liberalization of international trade in various sectors.
He holds a doctorate in Economics and is currently a Professor of Higher Eucation at Ibn Tofail University in Kénitra, Morocco. He is a sought after speaker and an expert in international trade procedures, especially in the area of control and the specific formalities of international trade in goods and services.
He is associated with the Institut Royal des Etudes Stratégiques (IRES) and the Institut Marocain de l'Intelligence Stratégique (IMS). He is also a consultant to several international organisations, including ILO, UNDP, UNCTAD, ADB, CCI, UNECA and CUTS International.
Prof Boubrahimi has conducted research in several areas including realization of the value chain in textiles, the impact of trade and investment policies on domestic employment in Morocco and simplification of international trade procedures. He has also published extensively in the areas of global multilateralism and the risks of economic polarization, the impact of trade liberalization in the area of goods and services, the promotion of domestic exports and sectoral diversification in Morocco,
In addition, he is a FIATA-certified trainer in international trade procedures (Customs and Transit) and a CCI-certified advisor in the international development of SMEs.
