Rose Lee
Rose is an international technology and commercial lawyer with extensive experience working in leading law firms, multi-national corporations and financial institutions, specializing in matters of information technology, telecommunications, intellectual property and general commercial law. She advises on international third-party supplier contracts in various service categories across multiple jurisdictions, including data and content licensing, cloud computing, technology, outsourcing, and other service agreements.
Based in Zurich as the Global Legal Head of Corporate Services Innovation & Initiatives at a major Swiss bank, Rose acts as senior legal advisor to the bank’s Group Corporate Services and Technology functions in the areas of outsourcing/sourcing and supply chain contracts. She also oversees the implementation of legal and regulatory programs relating to the bank’s supply chain frameworks, including global legal and regulatory horizon scanning and impact assessment.
Prior to this role, Rose was the Global Head of Legal Sourcing & Intellectual Property and sat on various service management and third-party risk management committees as their legal representative to ensure the operation of an effective control environment for the bank’s sourcing and outsourcing activities. Before that, she was the EMEA Regional Head of Legal Sourcing, providing contracting legal and regulatory advisory support to facilitate the bank’s procurement activities in the EMEA region. Rose also advised business clients and stakeholders in strategic legal and regulatory change projects to address data protection, outsourcing, and operational resilience risks.
Rose has also accumulated Asia Pacific experience as the regional senior counsel for Technology, Intellectual Property and Contracts at a US bank in Singapore. In this role, she provided legal and regulatory support on external third-party vendor arrangements with a focus on technology, intellectual property and business/corporate services across the Asia Pacific (excluding Japan).
